“My journey to discovering the 275-year-old oil press near Luxor feels divinely guided, almost as if it were meant to unfold this way. I traveled to Egypt for a gathering with Matias de Stefano on 2/22/22, a trip made possible by my job of 18 years, which I later lost. It’s ironic and beautiful - because of that job, I had the chance to visit Egypt, which ultimately led me to this life-changing connection. 

After returning to the states, I stayed in touch with my tour guide, who has since become a dear friend. He sent me samples from an ancient press near Luxor, introducing me to a family who has been crafting oils for generations. Their process is steeped in tradition and reverence, using a 1,400-pound granite wheel and an ox—the original cold-press method that preserves the oils’ purity and potency.  

What struck me most is the alchemy and wisdom these oils seem to hold. They carry an energy that feels timeless, as if infused with the essence of ancient Egypt itself. I’m in awe of the purity and healing intent behind their creation, the care given by the farmers who handpick the plants, and the rare, sacred quality of these oils. Supporting this family and sharing their craft with the world feels like an extension of the alchemical process—a merging of tradition, healing, and consciousness. I am truly grateful to be part of this unfolding story.”
